Yesterday Vectis Housing held the first in a series of summer 2016 neighbourhood events at the Paddocks in Apse Heath. Lots of residents came out to meet members of staff and to discuss any issues with their housing and their neighbourhood. The sun came out for the afternoon, and it was lovely to sit in the sunshine meeting new people and eating the delicious sandwiches and cakes provided. A few concerns were raised by residents, especially around cars and parking, and these will now be looked into by Vectis staff.

Ian Boyd from ARC came along with the amazing bug hoover, and the children found all sorts of unusual and fascinating insects in the bushes and hedges right on their doorstep.
